Summary
Tyler has disliked Josh Dun since they were, like — he didn’t even know. Nine? Ten? They grew up going to the same church and went to the same Sunday School and same youth groups on Tuesday nights for years. Josh stopped coming his freshman year of high school, suddenly too cool for youth group. Tyler stuck around, even helping out the middle school groups through high school. Tyler was in choir too through college, because he lived and breathed music. Tyler had seen Josh a few times in the back of the church as he sang his choir solos, Josh always sporting a mild-to-moderate grimace. The two had always just rubbed each other the wrong way. Tyler couldn’t put his finger on it, but Josh was just fucking annoying. Disrespectful, rebellious, uppity, and just…so very different from Tyler.

Summary
Gabe has been alive since the late 1700s. He's been doomed to a life of immortality since he was bitten by a vampire in his 20s.
Though, strangely, he has several souls that seem to keep him company. He keeps meeting Williams and Petes and Mikeys, and he's even met two Patricks now. They usually look a little different than their past iterations, talk a little different, act a little different. They enter Gabe's life, make it infinitely better, and then leave again. Because humans are mortal, and Gabe isn't.
Inspired nearly entirely by "One Day Robots Will Cry" by Cobra Starship.
