Summary
With a final burst of laughter, Tommy hopped in front of the man, halting them both in their steps. The morning sun warmed his back, as the light illuminated around him like a welcoming embrace.
“Nice to meet you, big man.”
Tommy smiled, as he watched a scowl appear on Wilbur’s face. Yet, Tommy could see how the sides of Wilbur’s mouth were just slightly upturned, like a subtle grin.
After getting fired and racking up a great deal of debt, Tommy started his new job at the local zoo with nothing but high hopes. However, after a string of unfortunate interactions with the co-workers - especially the grumpy aquarium attendant, he began to realize that things may not go as smoothly as he wanted them to.
Even after scoring his dream job as a guide at the one place that brought him joy as a child, his past and inability to get along with others comes to haunt him.

Summary
You can say Tommy was familiar with death. An old friend, if you must. And so, it wasn’t uncommon for his mind to drift towards theories of how he would eventually pass. Perhaps an arrow through the chest or a sword stabbed through the back? There were many, many cruel possibilities. But when Tommy remained motionless against the prison floor, arms sprawled like broken wings beside him, he didn’t really suspect that he would die by a potato.

Summary
146,692,378 km.
That is the closest distance the Moon and Sun will ever get, when the Earth is at its closest point of orbit while the Moon is most distant from Earth.
Like two hands reaching out, so much distance between their fingertips, but the closest they will ever be.
Even if it is for a split second, a mere minute, Tommy cherishes that singular moment.

Summary
‘Where are you?’ Tommy asked, now acutely aware of the silence from the room behind him.
‘I’m at the pier, can’t you hear the water, Tommy?’ Wilbur’s voice softened slightly whilst the waves grew louder in sound. Tommy closed his eyes and imagined Wilbur lifting the phone closer towards the sea, as if letting the water greet Tommy hello.
It seemed to soothe him slightly before the contrasting silence of his own apartment seemed to douse another bucket of cold water over him.
‘Wilbur…’ he started again cautiously.
A heavy stillness rang on the other end of the call, Wilbur quietly waiting for Tommy to continue.
‘Aren’t you in my apartment right now?’ he sounded out slowly, as if Tommy himself wasn’t sure when he had clearly seen and touched Wilbur.

Tommy, after the successful exorcism stream, finally felt it was the right time to retire Uncle Nasty. The doll had run its course, keeping him company during his lonely times, but now he was ready to store it and end the joke. Except, someone (or something?) didn't seem too happy about it.

Summary
Once upon a time, during a Spring day, Wilbur had said with a laugh,
‘Don’t you think your hair’s a lot like the colour of the sun, Tommy? Soft like newly mowed grass too,’ an undeniable fond glint twinkling in his eye.
Wilbur specialised in words and relished in his sharp tongue and dialogue. Yet even without them, Tommy had heard his message loud and clear that day.
You, you are the world.
A fuzzy feeling had erupted within him, a grin stretching across his face.
Don’t forget that.

All Tommy wants was to feel the warm embrace of Spring again. But, death was hard, and limbo was harder. Surrounded by darkness and the sensation of nothing and a big brother who was as much of a stranger as he was family, Tommy yearns and yearns and yearns for the familiar warmth of the season.

In the trees
Wilbur was ignoring him, Tommy thought with an indignant huff. That was the only reasonable explanation, as his older brother trudged down the stairs and didn’t greet the seven-year-old with a hair ruffle like he usually does. Tommy isn’t miffed, he isn’t! He never liked it anyways, it always messed up his hair before he had to go to school.
Nope, Tommy didn’t care at all

Tommy thinks his family has been too quiet recently, too blue. A walk through the woods would cheer them up, he thinks - just like old, simpler times. He just wants everyone to be happy again!
Inspired by 'Seven' by Taylor Swift.

Summary
Tommy sat in front of him, quiet and speechless, and so, so out of character.
For as long as Sam had known the boy, he was loud. Boisterous, not just in his voice, but in his presence. You could never miss the moment when TommyInnit entered the room - like the rays of the sun slipping through the slits of a curtain, a bright aura slowly growing until it fully encompasses the room and suddenly you realise that the night has passed and daytime has arrived.
Tommy was an enigma.

Summary
A fourteen-year-old boy lays asleep in the midst of a field, a peaceful smile doting his face. His hair shone brightly under the sun as if he was one with it; a manifestation of all things good and warm and lively.
On top of his body was a mass of woven dandelions and clovers.
It was the younger’s favourite plant.
A sunshine boy, the embodiment of things good.
Tommy Innit, the boy of unlovable things. The one who adopted a pet spider, the one who makes dandelion chains, the one who can watch snail trails all day long. The one who gave love more than his small body could ever hold.
Maybe that’s why Wilbur got along with him so well in a time where love had no place.
or,
The Games were the dreaded part of every year for Wilbur Soot, resident of District 12. He didn't expect his twin brother, Techno, to be reaped in their final year. He also didn't expect himself to volunteer, but he loved his brother with all he had. Perhaps what Wilbur expected the least, though, was befriending a snotty-nosed kid called Tommy in midst of a time where love and family has no place.

Summary
As the sun seeped through the curtains of his room, the first thought Tommy had the morning he turned seventeen was that he would never be good enough.
This realisation wasn't new to Tommy, not when his best friends Tubbo and Ranboo are two overachievers and hard workers. Not when his brothers, Wilbur and Techno, have more talent and passion in their pinkie than he has in his entire body. Tommy had accepted he would never be as good as his brothers years ago - but he had hoped that if he manages to get by, keep his head just above the water, then he will be fine.
It has finally sunk in that Tommy does not know if he can survive like this for another year.

(Seventeen is a weird age for everyone, Tommy was not an anomaly. Except, when he curls in a little bit tighter, feels a little more lonely and empty, he wonders if it really is worth it to hold on for longer. A coming-of-age self-indulgent fic where one struggles with growing up, school, friends, family and life)

Summary
Sometimes they would cry. Sometimes, they would laugh. Sometimes, a woman with apple-red hair and a little child with the sweetest laugh will come with them. All four would chat and admire the coloured strokes of the morning sky, starting the day with laughter.
But always, without fail, the brothers would bring a yellow rose and perch it against the slab of the stone that sat on top of the hill.
There were two brothers, eons ago, sitting next to a grave covered in yellow roses. There were two brothers, but before that, there were three. Even before that, there was a family.
