Summary
Nick (33) and Charlie (31) are both therapists working at a community mental health center in Nashville, Tennessee. Nick works with children as a play therapist, and Charlie works with teens. American AU set in central Texas.
Charlie Spring transfers to Truham High in 10th grade to get away from the bullying he faced at his old school. He makes friends with Tao, Elle, and Isaac, and almost immediately crosses paths with Nick Nelson, and there’s immediate interest between the two of them. Then he finds out that Nick is the catcher for the Truham baseball team. Thaaaaaat’s a bit of a problem.

Nick Nelson is… mostly looking forward to the start of 11th grade at Truham High. He’s popular enough, has good friends, and is the starting catcher on the varsity baseball team. But Nick is tired.
