Then on his naked body, on the left near his v-line Matt could feel a strange scar— it wasn’t surprising to see a scar on Dex’s body but this scar has a specific shape. He traced his thumb over it, Dex body flinched; “D.D” He mumbled.

He kicked his alarmed inner senses into the darkest corner of his mind, focusing on Dex looking after him. And he did, ever since Matt woke up he was all over him. Bringing snacks he could eat, drinks he could sip without throwing up. Somehow the events of yesterday started to feel like a distant bad dream. Matt felt like he should be listening to himself, but what good does ever come from that, seriously? He felt like if he were to give his paranoia the green light, this starting relationship would be ruined. Who knows, maybe Dex and him could be…serious?

He tracks Dex around the kitchen by the vibrations of his footsteps. He goes from the sink to the cooler to put away the left over food in the fridge, puts the gun-grease rag in the laundry hamper, puts his gun in its case and stashes it back under the couch. Everything gets put back exactly how it was before they left, and only then Dex comes to sit on the couch a few feet from where Matt’s on the floor basking in the fan’s cool air.
you know when you come back inside from a really hot day and the transition from hot bright outside to cool dark inside makes you like. lag for a second. just me?

In his shock Peter's arms folded, allowing the creature to crash into him, but even then that strong jaw did not snap closed around his throat. Rather, it pinned him, teeth on both sides of his neck in a clear threat, but not tearing into the vulnerable flesh. Its cold breath rolled over his heated skin with every exhale.
"Want." Its grip tightened around him. Drool dripped onto Peter's suit, plastering the fabric to his face. "Need."
Something is preventing the Lizard from turning back into Curt Connors. No need to worry though—Peter's on the case.
