Stock wasn’t familiar with much in the culinary world. He wasn’t a fighter, or a coordinator, he wasn’t a mechanic or a pilot or a member of the brass. He was a cook, and he was a damn good cook, thank you very much.
“Soooo,” Jax said, poking a leg of… something with a spatula. “What’d we do with it?”
“Are we certain it’s edible?” piped in Shirley.
“Has to be,” Stock said, “Pips approved it, didn’t he?”
The Vod’e around made sounds of agreement, but Stock wasn’t sure. He saw tubers and starches, some sort of pebbled purple grain and cold containers of what he assumed to be fresh dairy. This was the first time his Vod’e on the newly-minted Negotiator had good food for once.Or the tale of Stock and his army of underlings in the galley of the Negotiator.

Summary
Luke grinned, running his fingers through Din's hair. His fingers were glorious, long and tapered with nails scratching against his scalp. Touch was overwhelming, so good he didn't have words for it. To be touched with love and adoration was nearly too much to bear. The heat in his belly surged as Luke flipped them, adjusting Din's body with restless hands as he ground his hips into Din's.
"I want you," Luke groaned, leaning down and kissing Din thoroughly, their bodies tangled above their quilts. "In any way you'll have me; I want you."
Din grinned, reaching up and brushing his fingers against Luke's blindfold, against the promise Din had made to the man he loved and cupped his jaw in his hands. "Then take me."

“You don’t want to?” Ilya’s eyes are bottomless; swimming with grief. He says it like he really means, You don’t want me?
“That isn’t what I mean,” Shane says gently, brushing his thumb over Ilya’s cheekbone. Ilya’s eyes flutter shut, as if being treated so tenderly causes him physical pain. Like he isn’t used to it. “You’re hurting. I don’t want you to regret it in the morning.”
Ilya’s eyes open. “I have never regretted a moment with you.”

“Bullshit,” Hayden responds. “You never have plans.”
Objectively, this used to be true. Nowadays Shane has many, many plans, between his nightly plans to look at Ilya’s penis through Skype and his various long-term plans laid out helpfully in his notebook, Canva (For Ilya’s sake. He is a visual learner), and more recently, Excel. Shane loves that excel sheet. He’s colour coded it.
In 2017, Shane Hollander spirals and proposes to his boyfriend of 4 days (or 7 years, or 9 years, or not his boyfriend at all, depending on how you look at it), which leads to a lot of plans, weird theories in the Montreal Voyageur locker room, some Twitter drama, and Ilya Rozanov entering his WAG era.

“I’m sorry,” Shane chokes, closing his eyes. Rozanov draws his hand, pulling Shane’s with it, to his face and wipes his cheeks.
“There is nothing to be sorry for, любовь моя, it is okay,” Rozanov murmurs, tugging at Shane’s hair again. Shane exhales, letting him clean his cheeks. “You got overwhelmed, yes? It happens.”
“I can’t be fucking normal,” Shane says quietly, whining, head falling back, pressing into Rozanov’s hand.
“No, if you were fucking normal, you would not be my Shane.”
