Louis had learned many lessons before. And he had already learned this one, the one brewing at the doorsteps between two foreign kingdoms;

It had no mercy for his people. It had no mercy for Owen. And it certainly had no mercy for him. So when he finds himself caught up in the rivalry between the Red and Blue Kingdoms, he decides to make up for his failure in saving Oakhurst.
