Summary
A very dark story about Raven Neil. How he was conditioned as a child, but part of him always rebelled against it.
Some things unfold differently than in canon.
In this version, Neil is THE best striker, and Riko hates him for it.
Side notes: In my story, Riko is not the main villain. He is a minor wannabe antagonist, a cheap imitation of the kind Nathaniel grew up and live with. (But still gruel)
Update: the story takes place in the Nest until chapter 26.
Also, Andrew is not medicated and the relationship with Aaron is better than in canon. Not warm, God no - we’re talking about the Minyards - but tolerable.

Neil was sinking down too fast, eager to have Andrew inside him, but Andrew’s hands clamped down on his waist, stopping him short. “Don’t be greedy,” he said, his fingers digging into Neil’s skin.
Neil forced himself to take Andrew inch by torturous inch. His body stretched around him, the burn exquisite, the fullness overwhelming. When he was fully seated, he leaned forward, pressing his mouth to Andrew’s in a kiss that was all teeth and tongue, biting at Andrew’s lower lip until Andrew groaned into his mouth.
Or: Andrew didn’t seem so happy about Neil leaving him in bed for a morning run when they could cuddle and have mind-blowing sex.
