When she was a child, Eulalia thought everyone’s parents were like that, putting their hands on each other and kissing and talking in a language even their children don’t fully understand. It was only when she got older she realized how untrue that was. She’s lucky, she knows that now. Most people are planted in dust and expected to grow.
