Summary
Chuuya, the God of Destruction, has finally settled down. His family is safely ascended, and his bond with his consort, God of Strategies Dazai Osamu, couldn't be stronger. Things were good, those who tried to hurt them had been defeated, but now Chuuya was faced with a much more difficult problem: navigating the life of a family man. Children grow, relationships flourish and crumble with the tides of time, and new troubles are rising on the horizon. Despite it all, Chuuya’s doing his best to make those he's loved and lost proud, and not to brag or anything, but he thinks he's doing a pretty fucking good job.

Summary
Chuuya was exhausted by the time they reached the hotel he and Dazai were staying at after a long and grueling mission outside of Yokohama. Of course their hotel room would only have one bed, forcing Chuuya's thoughts places he wished they wouldn't go. Sexual attraction was something he had come to terms with, romantic attraction wasn't even something he thought he could feel. Yet somehow, he ends up unable to fall asleep because Dazai's hand is in his, and now Chuuya has questions. Hopefully Dazai will be useful for once and actual have some answers. That way maybe, just maybe, they can both get something out of it. Something better, something pure that amounts to more than their lives shrouded in shadows and bathed in blood. Something that isn't wholly lacking humanity.

One thing he did understand though was that people didn't like him because of it. At four years old, he knew other gods were afraid of him. By the time he reached his teenage years, it was an irrefutable fact that gods and humans alike feared him, and he feared himself. When his little sister is born, so small, fragile, and breakable, it all comes to a head when Arahabaki loses control and his powers work to destroy him. Will his brothers be able to find him before it's too late?

Summary
Dazai passed out on a mission thanks to a lack of subsistence, in the middle of a shoot out no less. Not only had he passed out, he also lied to Chuuya. And while the executive tried to stay angry at his partner, he really couldn't when all he really felt was worry. That's how he ends up dragging Dazai to the grocery store with him before forcing the younger of them to stay at his apartment. Of course that's only because Chuuya doesn't want Dazai to get them killed, obviously.

In the eight years Dazai has know Chuuya he has only seen the man pout twice. He can't tell if he should be upset over it or grateful because he isn't sure his hard of hearts could handle it. However, he does know that every time Chuuya pouts the executive is on the ceiling.

Chuuya always knew that he would die from corruption. He never thought he'd outlive Dazai though, it was something he was never prepared for. In a desperate attempt to make sure his ex-partner will be okay once he dies and to say his own version of a final goodbye (Because he's not like that shitty mackerel who leaves without saying anything) he makes a rash phone call in the middle of the night as he races out of Yokohama towards his last destination.

Graduation is right around the corner and to say Dazai loathed the day it came would be an understatement. Don't misunderstand, he couldn't wait to get out of his house and away from his dad, but the idea of losing Chuuya in the mix wasn't something he could handle. With all the emotions he'd been pushing down about the subject starting to resurface, there's no way he wouldn't go with his bestfriend to their childhood lake. Even if it was just to take landscape pictures of the water.
