Risk was all a part of working with Aventurine, Ratio knew that fact well.
Whereas the scholar relied on pure fact, the damned gambler relied on luck. Luckily for both him and their mission, Aventurine was never in short supply of it. No matter how insane his plan, he always came out the victor. Ratio did not agree with his wild plans, deeming them unreliable and unnecessary for their mission, but he could not deny their results.
Yet even for the it seemed that even for the nearly infinitely lucky, luck still runs out.
