Summary
Harry Potter saw 'he who must not be named' at the end of the triwizard maze. Cedric died, and Harry saw Voldemort come back to his original body. But, Voldemort disappears for seven years. Harry's scar doesn't hurt any longer, he doesn't have dreams or visions of voldemort, or of Sirius getting tortured in the Ministry. The only people who know for certain Voldemort has returned is Harry and the death eaters that joined him that night.
Harry is left to tell the tales of that night for three years until he graduates, after which he enters the muggle world. He has nothing to do with the wizarding world for four years. Harry is just left to wonder what has happened to Voldemort, until a letter brings him back home once again.
