Though it had been years, Jigen remembered what it was to work alone. You go out, you stay careful, pick your contracts wisely. Don’t look your benefactor in the eye. Make sure the money is good and keep up with the news. Watch your target die. Make sure they’re really dead. Walk the razor’s edge between payday and the grave; and avoid partners you haven’t chosen yourself. Jigen could count them on one hand, the number of guys he’d once worked with who were still in business.
“He’s going to get himself fucking killed,” he says as he watches Goemon walk away.
Lupin shrugs and starts to light a cigarette. “He’ll come back,” he says. But he doesn’t sound sure and when Jigen looks a minute later, he’s still struggling with the lighter.

He tilted his head at him in idle amusement. “Everything? You forget who you’re dealing with, Black. I would argue that your cardigan-wearing baker boyfriend has far tamer tastes than a Death Eater and Dark wizard”.
He felt a presence behind him and tensed as Remus pressed himself against his back, his breath hot against his ear.
“You could make that argument” he agreed, his voice a mere rumble, “But you would be wrong. When Sirius says he likes everything - he likes everything”.or, the Severus/Sirius/Remus PWP series we all need.
