"Right…" Kojiro nodded and swirled his wine around for a second. "Kaoru… I know we don't usually talk about feelings and that stuff but… you know I'm here for you, right? You can tell me anything"
Kaoru frowned. An instant flicker of panic ran through him when he felt Kojiro was onto him. Was he so obvious? Kaoru was sure he had been hiding his feelings well enough for the last decade. Could it be…?
"Where is all this coming from?" he snapped. "Showing up unannounced, bringing food, questioning me… since when do you care?"

Once you assume your feelings could never be reciprocated, you force yourself to be content with what you have. You are happy to at least be part of the bigger picture, or so you say to yourself.
Kaoru finds himself in that situation, content with being in his comfort zone where feelings aren't hurt and truths aren't spoken.
Until that changes.

When Kojiro becomes fed up with Kaoru’s skateboard calling him ‘Master,’ he decides to voice his frustration. He doesn’t expect Kaoru to drag him off to a secluded area of S, where they’re able to figure out where things stand between them.

Kaoru’s eyes darkened, the corner of his lip tugging upward.
“I’ll make you an example.”
It started with a drunken bet. One moment, they were caught up in a useless argument with neither side backing down. In the next, Kojiro found himself seated and watching Kaoru as he stripped and danced for him alone. He wasn’t quite sure how he ended up in such a situation. But he certainly didn’t want to get out of it.
