Summary
Sakamoto Ryoma (rather, under the inconspicuous alias, Saito Hajime) has successfully infiltrated the ranks of the Shinsengumi to find who had assassinated his father. However, not long after, he finds a massacred body and reports it to Hijikata, the Deputy Chief. Aside from no other clues as to who had committed the crime, they find a note on the body.
Ryoma henceforth brings unwanted attention to himself as he is now tasked with two goals: find his father's murderer, and unearth the mystery of who is leaving notes on the slaughtered bodies of certain residents of Kyo.
Ratings will go up as chapters progress!

Summary
A single sleepy eye peered low-lidded from the, now, cracked open door. The old chain lock jangled and strained, creating a silver divide about halfway across Kiryu’s face. Majima could only see a sliver of his expression and thin line of his body through the narrow gap and, even though he hadn’t even really done anything yet, he was already pouting. He was also shirtless, with his grey sweatpants dangling nice and low off his hipbones. Majima kept up that stupid grin, biting his tongue to stop himself from laughing.
“M-Majima-no-niisan?” Kiryu croaked.
Majima hiked up the sack over his shoulder for emphasis, cocking his head to the side. In the wintry breeze, the long length of his fake beard drifted to the side.
“Goodness no, boy! Do ya not recognize me?”

There must be something in the water in Kyo. Ryoma's reputation as a truehearted samurai will be at stake if he can't find a way to get through it.

“Aw, Kiryu-chan, why don’tcha just come down and let me take care of ya?!”
Kiryu really had no good reason to say yes. He’d even figured it was a trap.
And yet, there he was.
Sucker.
Maybe it was because no genuine onsens or spas would accept him, with how heavily tattooed he was, and the prospect of sinking into warm water was actually rather appealing. But more likely it was because he’d be naked with Majima-san.

Kiryu’s cheeks burned. He could lie. And maybe if it had been anybody else, if it were a pretty hostess or that Poppo cashier with the nose ring that always gave him an extra hot bun, he would have. But this was Majima. He hated being lied to. It felt wrong to lie to him.

“That leaves us with the romance part,” Nanba said. “What do we know about Kiryu-san’s love life?”
“Yumi Sawamura,” Seonhee replied matter-of-factly. “Dead for nearly twenty years.”
Silence fell around the table as they all considered this new angle. If they were talking about any other guy Seonhee would have suggested finding him a pretty girl who’d show him a good time. [...] But she knew it just wouldn’t work. It’s not that Kiryu-san didn’t appreciate beautiful women; he just wasn’t a man who’d fall head over heels for one so quickly. It was a quality she admired about him, and which, at the same time, annoyed her to no end. The man was immovable like a mountain.
“There had to be someone else,” Saeko said. “You don’t really believe Kiryu-san didn’t even have a crush on anyone after Yumi died, do you?”
