Summary
Harry Potter has survived Voldemort, the Forbidden Forest, and seven years of Hermione Granger's study schedules. He did not anticipate that a routine Dark artefact retrieval and one catastrophically misread French idiom would prove his undoing. Ron Weasley, armed with one of Draco's books and absolutely no working knowledge of Romance languages, delivers the worst medical advice in the history of wizarding Britain and then leaves for the weekend. Hermione comes to take care of Harry. Harry attempts to not die. He does a terrible job of it. Hermione has no idea why.
A comedy of errors, a fidelity urn, and le petit mort — which, it turns out, means something rather different than Ron thought.

A fluffy little one shot dedicated to Mr_YK_Potter whose Harmony Out of the Ordinary fest has produced such terrific creativity from this little ship. This one came about as I was contemplating one of my all-time favorite Fuck-or-Die fics and I thought about how fun a Fuck AND Die fic could be.
