   Summary

   The one thing we are guaranteed in our lives is that we will die - Aerith knows it, Sephiroth knows it, and Cloud has to accept it. Caught between engulfing despair and unwavering resolve, destructive rage and healing love, Cloud must choose his path - he must decide if this is a world worth saving. Concurrently, all who love Cloud struggle to find a way to save him from the double pronged assault on his heart.

   TLDR; A Clerith story with some evident baggage. Thinly veiled post-Rebirth self-therapy.
