So, of course, once he’s finally alone for good, abandoned on Reach like he wanted, that is when something weird happens.

    A soldier stepped into the room, dressed in all tactical gear that Noble was having a hard time placing. Must be SAS. He turned his gaze directly to the soldier, clocking him as Gary “Roach” Sanderson.

    “Welcome aboard, LT! Hopefully you can keep up with us, although Chief Laswell has high hopes for you,” the kid chirped up at him, not even flinching at the height difference between them.

    Noble winced beneath his mask.
