She took a couple of steps forward to meet a hug as someone else walked into the room, and when she pulled back there he was. He was opening his mouth to talk to the two heroes standing behind Uraraka, already looking so excited about their presence in his home, but Katsuki couldn’t help himself.
“Deku,” Katsuki said, for the first time in so long.
A mess of emotions flickered across Deku’s face as he froze at the sound. But he turned towards Katsuki immediately.
“Kacchan,” Deku said softly in surprise the moment his eyes landed on Katsuki, and Katsuki knew then why this house had smelled like home to him.

"You need me to help ground you again?" Kacchan whispered, intense ruby eyes trembling as they studied Izuku's face for a reaction—the same way they always did when he asked this.
The implication sent a feverish electric shock all over Izuku's tan skin, erupting the surface in goosebumps.
Kacchan and him have a… weird way of helping each other, to say the least.
Or: Izuku is overworked, burnt out, and insecure over being a hero. Katsuki helps him emotionally regulate through unconventional means.
