Summary
In a twist of fate, an aspiring artist didn't go to the small town of Inaba. However, a certain fiery blond girl was sent to the countryside instead.
Ann Takamaki was sent to Inaba to live with a friend of her parents, in an attempt to give their daughter some stability and tranquillity in her school life.
Stability and tranquillity was far from what she actually got, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

“Come on, Ren-kun,” Yukari nudges Ren as he slumps. “I dove into being Pink Argus with little experience myself, and I haven’t regretted it since. Maybe you’ll feel the same.”
Ren thinks about it. His life really couldn’t and shouldn’t revolve completely around the shadow world, he supposes. And he’s not obligated to do any more than this if acting doesn’t agree with him after all.
Ann’s going to freak. Futaba is going to lose her shit.
“You remember the Phantom Thieves of Hearts business a few years back?” The director asks. “It won’t be a complete one to one, but I do have to admit that this series’ plot is loosely based on it.”
Okay, now that’s just unfair. Now Ren has to take the role.
So that’s how Ren becomes a Featherman Ranger.
Or, Amamiya Ren becomes a Featherman actor, bases his character off Akechi, and the real Akechi Goro disastrously simps from afar.

He flushed slightly, ducking his head and rubbing the back of his neck. There was no way Akechi would ever agree to something like that—
“What time?” Akechi said, looking down and adjusting his glove in a way that shouldn’t have been as elegant as it was.
“You don’t have to—huh?” Akira said.
Akechi smirked, and the mean smile looked more natural on him. “I said, what time?”
