“Do you know what’s to happen now?” Halbrand asked her, cupping her face in both of his large hands. Galadriel pulled back, licking her lips and savoring the taste of his spit on her mouth before nodding.
“I think so,” she said, trying not to sound too eager. “You’re taking the belt off.”
Halbrand nodded, still cupping her cheeks as his eyes sparkled. “I’m taking the belt off, yes,” he agreed, “but do you know what happens after that?”
Galadriel shook her head, a blush dusting over her cheeks once more. “Mama said you would tell me,” she offered, and Halbrand’s eyes darkened as he nodded.
