Still sprawled on the desk, Lestat arranged himself into a more seductive position. Then looked up through his lashes and said, meaningfully, “Is there nothing I can do to pass?”
He didn’t miss the way Mr du Lac’s eyes kept flitting downwards, even as he said blandly, “I can assign you extra credit exercises, but –”
“Nothing at all?” Lestat repeated, even more meaningfully.
