I mean, the Stellaron Hunter is a wanted criminal who broke out of prison, for Lan’s sake!”

    A small smile spreads across Luocha’s face. “Oh, you know how people are. They’re often fascinated by the forbidden, and criminals in particular are popular.”

    The look Luocha gives Dan Heng is a bit too knowing. “And those on the run tend to be especially sought after. Wouldn’t you agree, Dan Heng?”

    "Any particular reason you've brought out this form, Dan Heng?"

    Dan Heng resists the urge to hug himself, instead keeping his arms firmly planted by his sides. He already feels a bit bare without the extra armor and accessories that usually adorn his person when he takes on the form of Permansor Terrae; something about donning this form outside of battle leaves him feeling a bit vulnerable. Although he is fully clothed in a high-neck black t-shirt and slacks, the way Blade’s golden eyes rake across his body makes him feel as if he is sitting on the mattress without anything on.

    Dan Heng wants to try something new in the bedroom. Blade, naturally, agrees.

There's this one dude— Blade. But he's insane. Silverwolf says he won't play co-op with her even though he's such a good gamer. Anyways! Those two fight so often I can't tell if they actually hate each other or if it's some weird foreplay. One time I saw Dan Heng stab him in the chest and walk away from his dead body and then literally an hour later they were cuddling. But then he snapped at me when I asked if they were mates! How rude!" Belatedly, she realized she probably shouldn't be talking about murder and foreplay to a random child. Ugh. Where was March when you needed her?

    "Oh…" Tribbie mused. "So they're just like Snowy and De!"

    Stelle did a double take. "Wait, what?"

    Yingxing looked up from where he was hammering away at a weapon and smiled, the force of it making Dan Feng want to topple over.

    “I wasn’t expecting you,” Yingxing said, wiping the sweat off his forehead. Dan Feng wanted to catch the droplets that flew in the air with his tongue. “What brings you to my humble workspace, High Elder?”

    Dan Feng crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow at the obvious lie: Yingxing knew that Dan Feng liked to seek his presence after long meetings, and the lilt to his voice betrayed his teasing easily. Instead of calling him out on it, though, Dan Feng allowed himself to indulge in his right as Yingxing’s husband, his gaze traveling down Yingxing’s distinctly unclothed torso toward the pants that clung low on Yingxing’s hips. “It is no wonder that you are dressed so inappropriately, then.”
