Summary
Jayce can still hear the voice of his mother, the words she chose to say at the council.
"My son isn't in his right mind." She yelled across the hall, a desperate attempt at salvaging her son's trial but to no avail. Jayce barely had any time to gather up his belongings, he forcibly had to give up his research.
Jayce knows he's not crazy. Vampires are real wether the citizens of Piltover or even his own mother believes him or not. He's spent the last ten years working onto that research. Without counting the six others he spent obsessing and barely recovering from his father's death.
It took one mistake and his life as he knows it completely crumbled. A mistake they would've understood if the council would've listened to him. But no, they had to show supposed mercy and exile him instead of sending him to stillwater.
