Chan doesn’t know how to stop, doesn’t know how to respond to the voices. He pants softly, trying to grasp hold of himself and his unstable emotions. The sobs grow louder, blocking out any other sounds. The studio floor welcomes him, the cool linoleum enveloping him in its comfort.
