Summary
Pyro bakes in the Texan sun, over summer ceasefire, and sticks fast like glue to the idea that she must do something utterly encompassing of the depth of her affection and gratitude for Engie on his birthday. The perfect opportunity knocks upon her door, and who is she to leave it shut? It matters not that her quest will take her over state lines and through subterfuge and milkshakes - and it certainly matters not that she kind of forgot to tell him where she was going.

excellent fem!pyro without making it weird or sexual, as well as emphasizing her childish thought patterns without infantilizing her! an excellent read.

Summary
“You come here often?” She tried, earning a soft snort from Gambit.
“Nah, chère, dat won't work at d’Gala,” Gambit shook his head as she grinned mischievously.
“Fine,” Rogue glanced down at her hand, chewing her lip as she tried to think of another line that would work. “Damn–uh–you work out?” She forced out with a laugh.
“Why it's ‘bout time you noticed, chère,” Gambit said with a laugh as Rogue purposely stepped on his foot.
“Ah'm tryin' my best ‘ere, okay?” She frowned. “Ah'm not good with all this flirtin’ stuff.”

Summary
He came back alive. But he didn’t come back whole.
Peter Parker was missing for months. When the Avengers finally found him, he wasn’t the same. Silent, twitchy, and disturbingly obedient, Peter is a shell of the kid he used to be—rewired by Hydra, his memories shattered, his instincts weaponized.
Now, housed in the Stark lab, Peter doesn’t speak. He doesn’t recognize his friends. He doesn’t even know his own name. His body heals at terrifying speed, but his mind remains trapped in a haze of trauma, violence, and forgotten identity.
Tony Stark is determined to fix him. He doesn’t care how long it takes or how much it breaks him in the process. But as Peter’s behavior grows more animal than human—and the threat of what Hydra left buried inside him begins to surface—the line between saving the kid and losing him completely starts to blur.
Because Peter didn’t come back alone.

Summary
"I'm not gettin' sick."
The statement had been preceded by countless numbers of small coughing fits, gradually increasing in frequency and severity over the course of several hours. Now that they'd been on the road for a couple hours, Scout was starting to feel like a cat had reached down his throat to play with his vocal cords. He blamed it on his driver's frequent "smoke breaks", which never occurred outside the car.
"I don't recall ever saying that you were," Spy replied incredulously. His eyes were kept firmly on the road, but he could feel Scout glaring at him.
//
What should be a run-of-the-mill car trip back to base following a contract goes slightly off-course as Scout finally gives in to a rapidly worsening chest cold.
