Stiles has reached breaking point, after months of feeling used by Derek. Stiles is left broken and depressed at the rejection and loss of alpha and pack. He left the supernatural world behind him. trouble is, he had been so immersed in the pack, in fighting for his life, that when he looked up everything was slightly different, he couldn't quite fit like he had before, he wasn't the same as before. the world wasn't the same as before. it took stiles a while to figure out how true that statement was.

Summary
Derek and Stiles are the most typical combo of nerd plus geek two teenage boys could be; and as stereotypical as they could ever get, they're each other's only friend. That usually doesn't bother Stiles much, Derek is the best best friend he could ever hope to have, but sometimes when he thinks about his fate of possibly not having his first kiss until college, he starts wishing he had a few more friends--or at least more people who were a bit more interested in him other than when they need to copy his notes.
In a fit of curiosity about how kissing feels like, Stiles proposes Derek that they each be the other's first kiss--strictly platonic, of course. But afterwards, Stiles can't stop noticing how hot Derek is, can't stop thinking about kissing and touching him.

Summary
When Derek wakes up without his memory, he is left with nothing but a note he wrote himself. He no longer remembers anything personal, not himself, not anyone else.
The note is pointing him towards the town Beacon Hills and once he is there, he is greeted by strangers telling him “Dude, I didn’t know you’re back in town”, which is confusing. Apparently, he grew up in Beacon Hills, but left a few years ago without telling anyone about it.
There is this one stranger, who calls him dude and has the most amazing scent. Derek might just want to start his new life here. With this person.
