She's growing up in exactly the world she always hoped to be a part of, watching missions unfold from the sidelines (or, accidentally, the front lines) and learning to recognize patterns before anyone else. While the Avengers take center stage, Estelle lives between them and the organization that gave them all their origin story.
And once she understands how it all fits together, she'll understand she was always born for it.

Summary

Anna Vaduva grew up in a quiet village outside Lublin, Poland, where winters bit hard, summers burned gold, and the Wisła wound through the valley like it carried a memory of its own. She was stubborn, bright, and full of restless life, a girl with uneven braids, skinned knees, and the quiet belief that the river could hear every secret she gave it.
Then the war found her.
Taken in 1942, Anna is dragged into HYDRA’s hands and remade into something unrecognizable. Piece by piece, they strip away her name, her family, and the softness that once defined her, until all that remains is something sharper, colder, and far more dangerous.
But HYDRA did not create her in isolation.
At her side stands another of their making: James Buchanan Barnes, a man broken, rebuilt, and sent back into the world as the Winter Soldier. Bound by violence, memory, and the machinery that forged them both, their lives become tangled in ways neither of them can escape.
