Izuku Midoriya, age sixteen and freshly homeless, after running for his life through incoming traffic is found and rescued by none other than world famous boxer Toshinori Yagi. So naturally, he immediately begins spewing a bunch of number one fanboy word vomit, only managing to get a grip when Yagi brings something much more interesting to his attention:
"Okay," Yagi spoke mostly to himself, as if in preparation to say something damning. "Have you ever heard of a demigod?"

Summary

Summary
During a hostage situation gone awry, nine-year-old Izuku Midoriya is caught in the crossfire of the battle between the police, professional heroes, and the infamous supervillain, Lazarus. With the emitter quirk 'Missing,' Lazarus has the uncanny ability of somehow making whomever he touches disappear for the span of one week. Thus far, no one has been able to determine where these people have gone or how they were able to return, including those his quirk has affected. This is due to the fact that, upon returning, his victims have gone mad -- foaming at the mouth, attacking the people around them, and a few have even had seizures. After a few years, though, these people recover but without the memories Lazarus had instilled. Midoriya, though -- Midoriya was different. He recovered, and he remembered.

“One of the players, Katsuki Bakugou, will be joining us. I don’t mean to rely on him for the technicalities of figure skating, rather, we need someone who can lift you up. He’s a strong skater and his assistance will be thoroughly beneficial in readying you for our next planned steps this season.” Yagi smiled down at him with clasped hands.
Izuku abruptly stopped. He could feel his lungs shudder under his rib cage, begging to take in a breath, but Izuku couldn’t muster the will to give in.
Did he hear that right?
Izuku finally gave into his body’s cry, taking in a sharp inhale through trembling lips, seemingly stuck on the first few words out of his coach’s mouth. “Katsuki Bakugou? The captain?”

Izuku, championship winning solo skater, is expected to perfectly land quads if he hopes to make it passed the Olympic qualifiers and seriously compete for gold.
The issue? His coach had decided he would be eliciting the help of Katsuki, center and captain of UA’s competitive D1 hockey team.
Estranged childhood friends are reunited after years for this new training regimen.

Summary
Pro Hero Bakugou Katsuki is on his way... to the bottom. His ratings suck, his reputation sucks, and even his agency has it out for him. Katsuki can see rock-bottom coming, but he can do nothing but brace for the inevitable, painful impact.
Meanwhile, Midoriya Izuku hit rock bottom months ago. He's pulling himself back to his feet, working shitty jobs with shitty pay and just doing his best to eat most days. At least he's not in debt anymore, though. At least he has a roof over his head.
On Katsuki's way down and on Izuku's way up, they catch each other.

Or, after five years apart, Katsuki and Izuku meet again under equally humbling circumstances. Things improve from there.
