Sure enough, 0420 stirs just enough to blink his eyes open. Next, Izuku settles Kacchan in his lap and begins trimming his paws. A bit of fur around the toe beans has grown long, which can get overstimulating if left unchecked. Aizawa just lifts him effortlessly, like Katsuki weighs absolutely nothing, and settles him into his lap. "There," he mutters, readjusting Katsuki's shirt where it rode up and shifting him so his head fits comfortably against his chest. "Much better posture for napping."

It’s been about a week, now. Even the first time, Katsuki had a hard time feeling the shock he tells himself he maybe should have.
Instead, like every other time, he feels relief.

“Light?” He offers again, flicking his fingers together. A tiny blue flame pops into existence in his palm and dances against the dark. It’s…sort of beautiful. Like a miniature star.
“…Yeah.” Hawks nods minutely and bridges the gap, stepping closer. He dips the cigarette into the small fire and lifts his hand to shield it from the wind.
Dabi shakes his head. “It won’t go out on its own. Don’t insult me, Birdie.”
Hm. Hawks isn’t sure if it’s the funny nickname or the first breath of nicotine, but he gets a head rush.
“Thanks.” He says, blowing out a cloud of smoke. Warmer already.
