She says she'd like that, and means it, and walks away with something that is almost a smile.
Across the trauma room, Robby looks up from his charting and raises an eyebrow at nobody in particular.
She seems cool, Abbot says.
Yeah maybe, Robby says, eyes already dropping back to the screen. Not gonna be around long enough to find out.
Jack watches him for a moment. Says nothing.
A few days after the chaos of the 4th of July, they finally grab that beer.
