    The world seemed to narrow around them, and when Alex spoke his voice sounded slow and distorted in his own mind, “I’ve missed you a lot.”

    Then, without really meaning to say it, he confessed; “I relapsed.”

    “I know.” Armand said, then. “Rest.”
