Summary
Wally blinked his eyes a couple times to adjust them to the light. He then noticed the familiar weight on his chest. A smile formed on his face when he realized Dick had attached himself while asleep. Dick had wrapped his arms around Wally's torso and intertwined their legs together.
Dick looked ethereal. The sunlight made him look godlike, though he would never admit that out loud. Though his hair was a mess, Wally thought he had never looked better.

“What made you come up with this?” Grace asks. His voice is thick.
“Grace need comfort,” Rocky says matter-of-factly. “Like a hug. This comfort Grace, question?”
Grace presses his hand more firmly against the top of Rocky’s carapace, and Rocky shifts a bit within the xenonite, rising so that they make nearly direct contact through the panel. It’s not like they haven’t done something like this before—Rocky is always pressing his claws up against Grace’s palm—but it’s different for Grace’s whole hand to be so close, to feel the heat of a living thing against his side and against his palm all at once.
“Yeah,” Grace breathes.

Summary
Cole was falling into the abyss, with all sorts of different types of shouts filling his ears; some of concern, some of guilt, and some of grief. He closed his eyes once he entered the cloud of darkness, expecting to make an impact with anything and everything. He hit the side of the building and crashed onto the floor, his vision beginning to succumb to the darkness. The last thing he was able to perceive before flatlining was the metallic crash nearby.
Or, Zane follows Cole into the abyss.

Summary
Cole has always been aware of the Oni blood that ran through his veins. He didn't remember the exact moment when he'd been told that he wasn't entirely human, it just felt like he always knew. But he did remember the sheer about of training and time he put into perfecting the use of his inherited abilities. Shape-shifting? It was second nature, so easy to use that it was almost laughable. Yet, in battle or on missions, it became an invaluable tool. It was something he wouldn't shy away from using, no matter if the only other people who knew about his lineage was Sensei Wu and Zane.
