Timothy Jackson Drake is dead. Or at least, it feels like he should be.
Bruce is still missing. Tim feels as though he’s been tortured and violated to the point he should be classified as dead. Apparently, the afterlife is run by a half-dead teenager who keeps throwing eldritch creatures at problems (this alone makes Tim want to die). But that’s not the worst part…
Lucius just transferred ownership of Wayne Enterprises to him.
Tim almost laughs. What a waste.

dead Red Robin gets hired into a cosmic emergency hotline disguised as customer service and discovers the universe is held together with duct tape, spite, and Phantom-brand energy drinks. (ft. tim’s “thought non-existent” guardian angel, bruce’s return causing issues on a celestial scale, the timeline where emotional literacy apparently does not exist, grotesquely optimistic discussions on what a soulmate is, awe-levels of stupidity, violence (read: affectionate), the rage-baiting of Lex Luthor to prevent interdimensional collapse, and more!) Summary
When on patrol one night, Red Robin ends up critically injured by a powerful, young ghost. Fortunately, a glowing boy is there to save him. Unfortunately, it involves stabilizing Tim with something that looks eerily like Lazarus Water. With a brief, yet vague explanation of ghosts, ectoplasm, and something called the GIW, the boy - self-proclaimed Phantom - vanishes.
Tim launches himself into research, discovering a plethora of new revelations into ghosts and the spirits that reside within and alongside their world. Some a little closer to home than others. As Tim and his family continue to search for answers, they'll discover government coverups, magic beyond even the knowledge of Justice League Dark, and a town that tows the border of life and death.
Meanwhile, Danny Fenton is having the time of his half-life at Gotham U, balancing engineering classes with his kingly duties in the Infinite Realms. But when Phantom ends up on the Bats' radar, his delicate balance might be upset entirely. But then again, Danny Fenton has never been one to retreat from trouble. And he certainly isn't about to start when it comes in the form of one very attractive Tim Drake-Wayne.

Danny's barely stepped foot in Gotham, and the city hasn't held back on living up to its reputation. He's barely recovered from a visit from Lady Gotham when he finds himself sharing a roof with Nightwing--and then the city is suddenly flooded in ectoplasm.
As his parents are also in Gotham, it's not a hard to figure out how, which leaves the matter of why.
The ectoplasm is hardly benign, however, and it's call is one that even Danny is hard pressed to resist.
Add in a odd man in a red helmet, and Danny's night just keeps getting weirder.

Jason didn’t know what was going on but he was really very pissed that there was another kid with a y-shaped scar on their chest and eyes that feel like frozen reflections of home. Thankfully, there were suddenly several new targets for his rage and Dick seemed rather more inclined to join Jason than stop him.

To be fair, Danny wanted it to be known that he just wanted some time to indulge in his Space and Protection obsession. How could he have known that while on a class field trip to Gotham he’d gain a father, grandpa, and a clown van full of siblings via accidental forced adoption? Danny just wanted to talk with the people in the Aerospace Division at Wayne Enterprises, his friends are never going to let him live this down.
“Oh dear, oh Gone With the Wind, we’ve lost Danny.” Lancer mutters under his breath as he nervously glances around his class. He can only hope that they are able to find Danny before Jazz finds out. “Class, as you can see Danny is not with the group anymore. Does everyone remember the Flyaway Fenton Protocol? Good.”
It’s at this point the Guide realizes whats going and tried to take point. “There’s a kid missing?! This is terrible! Hopefully he’s still in the building, Gotham is dangerous for the unprepared, I’ll go ahead and ask the front desk to try and have security search the building.” Lancer stares blankly at the Guides back as he beelines out of the hotel and back to WE.
“I fear more for Gotham, the people here are the ones unprepared for a lone Fenton.”

Ilya doesn't doubt how earnestly he means his words as he arches a brow at him, watching panic spread across Ovlichein's face. “Everyone else said that they couldn't host, and I offered but they said that none of the rooks could, which meant that Breezy and 'Los couldn't either, and then Marley said that we wouldn't gel as a team, and then everyone else agreed, and then Carmie and Sebbin said that we were going to be cursed if we didn't—”
Ilya holds up a hand, gratified when Ovlichein immediately falls silent.
The locker room is empty of everyone else, a trap neatly laid by the team. Ilya would be impressed by their conniving if it weren't so fucking irritating.
“This is a setup,” Ilya says slowly, watching as Ovlichein pales. “You know this, yes? You have been sent as a sacrifice for the whole team.”
OR: Ilya is a sensible captain. He takes care of his rookies, he hosts the team when needed, and he doesn't fuck around with ouija boards. Too bad Boston only cares about the first two things
