    He can do this for him. He’s going to do it because these may be his last words.
    His last will.
    So Steve Grant Rogers bites his tongue, swallows his words and swears to him.
    He swears that he will never say a word without his permission. That he will never betray his trust. That he’s with him to the end of the line, in Germany or in Brooklyn, and his secret is safe with him.
    He swears to God.
    He swears by his mother.

    "Hail HYDRA !"

    ... No, it couldn't be possible. He had to be dreaming, it was the only explanation. Steven Grant Rogers, Captain America, his best friend, could not have said that. There must be a mistake. Was this for a recorded joke ? He had seen some of these. Granted, that would be a bad, cruel one, but … this had to be. Some sort of payback ? Although he couldn't see any camera in the small alley. Or maybe his injury from two days ago had damaged his hearing ?

    Bucky was about to reach for his ear and try to… shake it off or something when he paused, hand halfway to his head, frozen in place.

    Steve had unsheathed the handgun he kept on his belt and the next second, the third guy in the alley dropped dead, a bullet in his forehead. 

     

    Translation of an old One-Shot that came to be after the comics decided to wreck Steve's character.

    Summary

    Bucky Barnes was kidnapped when he was a only thirteen by Hydra and raised to become the Winter Soldier. When Clint was fifteen, he was sold by his brother to Hydra where he trained under the Winter Soldier and the Swordsman's guidance. Together, Clint and Bucky manage to escape Hydra. But while Clint goes on to be recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. and become their star sniper, Bucky finds himself pulled back into Hydra's clutches.

    Desperate to prove he's more than just an Omega, Tony becomes the CEO of a company he thought would always become his only to discover it's not what he wanted. He escapes the control of the board and goes on a spree through the city before somehow finding his way into a fellow genius' hideout. Only, to be reunited years later with the threat of a greater superpower out hunting for Tony's head. And how did they even get control of the Hulk?

    Bound together by their shared experiences at the hands of Hydra, Clint, Bruce and Bucky band together with S.H.I.E.L.D. to wipe Hydra off the map. By the time the Battle of New York rolls around, Hydra has been suspiciously quiet of late. But Hydra never stays quiet long. Is the reason why lost inside Bucky's scattered mind?
