His back protested not-as-loudly- as he had expected when he stood back up. Out of the corner of his eye he vaguely registered Sonar’s ears flicking toward the sound.
However his eyes were then scrunched shut as the lack of sleep won, and he yawned. Loudly.
And as yawns were want to do, passing from one person to any witnesses, it got Sonar next, who also yawned, mouth opening wide and fangs shining against the afternoon sun that came in through the window.
And Robert, apparently tired of living, cooed, as if he were talking to Beef, “Ooooh, big yawn!!”
