It was just a quiet, somber night. Edmond was just about to go to bed and get his well-deserved rest. His plans crumbled, however, when a certain Grand Sorcerer had decided to pay him a visit and suggest some alternative forms of entertainment. How could the knight say no to those sparkling hazel eyes?

I originally wrote the first draft of this as a dare for April Fools but, in the end, I couldn't help but write the scenes with more and more emotions and mutual affection. Summary
For Edmond, both magic and romantic feelings had always been puzzles which he didn’t feel the need to approach. The Vice-Captain would choose his knightly duties over those abstract, convoluted topics any day of the week. However, after a certain Grand Sorcerer had entered his life, his views on the matter might have slightly shifted. As much as it pained the knight to admit, he had developed a need to learn more about those confusing, intricate, involuted feelings and powers. He was determined to figure them out all while continuing to execute his role as the Vice-Captain perfectly. Whether or not that was possible is a whole different animal.

This is basically an Edmond-centric story filled with all the love that I have for him as a character and for the game and its story as a whole. This is the first part of my diptych about these funky little gays but it could easily be read as a stand-alone work. Please, enjoy!
