A MattJay Obsession Fic set in The Burger episode
-An idea surfaced in his head then; an awful, characteristically dubious plan. The kind that was driven by impulse, like most of his plans, but even moreso now. The kind that gripped all sense of logic and morality by its throat with both hands, nails digging in, and held on tight until it stopped thrashing. He glanced behind him. No sign of Jay yet, it’d only been a minute.
To Matt’s understanding, in his hands he held a magical burger that upon being consumed could grant him any wish he could think of. Anything at all. He could have wished for a billion dollars. He could have wished for a hundred new hats to wear. He could have even wished for a show at the Rivoli, right then and there, and got it.
But he didn’t.

Summary
Matt is caught with a locker full of guns before he’s able to shoot anyone. He’s expelled and his family moves to the other side of the city, where he starts at a new school. He’s been banned from watching movies, creating movies and basically doing anything that would bring him joy.
He’s also not meant to contact Owen, but if he happens to find a boy in the music room that just happens to remind him of Owen, that’s probably okay. That’s probably healthy. There’s no rules against that.
