Mike's eyes widened. What was Murray talking about- Mike being depressed? Suicidal? Or maybe-"Okay, old man," said Spiderman, "We get it. You're the guru. Alright? Now leave him alone." he said exasperatedly.
Murray scoffed and left the room.
Mike turned to Spiderman. "Thanks, man."
"No problem, MJ."Mike gulped as a goofy smile adorned his face. MJ. Michael James. He liked the nickname.
"So....." Mike said, trying to make conversation, "When are you going to tell me who you are?"
"Never.""Just a hint?"
"I'm your gay awakening," said Spiderman sarcastically.Mike started spluttering violently. Sure, Spiderman was hot, but honestly? He preferred someone like.... Will Byers.
Yes. Will Byers was pretty.Mike managed to compose himself. "That's mighty of you. But my gay awakening was someone else."
"Awww, MJ, who'd you find hotter than me?"Mike blushed. "Don't tell anyone, but Will Byers."
In that moment, Spideman, AKA William Jacob Byers thinks he just died.

Robin Buckley thought her only ‘power’ she’d ever have was being invisible. Really, it was quite a feat… especially being friends with Steve Harrington and Eddie Munson and all. Still, while hanging out with known people, she continued to to be the exact opposite. Unknown. Invisible.
A gift she would say.
That is, until she was bitten by a radio-active spider and and gained these… ‘things’. She won’t call them ‘super’ powers, because they aren’t quite super, and she didn’t feel ‘powerful’ with them. Just out of control. They’ve really only gotten her into trouble thus far and now she was taking on high school, weird lab goons, and an embarrassing crush on a straight girl all at once.
Robin Buckley is no super hero. She’s just a kid. A kid who happens to be ‘the only hope for Hawkins’.
Jesus this stinks.

Summary
Mike Wheeler is a journalism student with a part-time job at the Daily Bugle and a growing obsession with New York’s newest hero: Spider-Man.
Will Byers is just trying to get through college, pay rent, and also happens to be the one swinging across the skyline at night.
They meet at a party. They become friends. It would be simpler for everyone involved if it stayed that way.
But Mike keeps searching for Spider-Man, and Will keeps hiding in plain sight - caught somewhere between wanting to be seen and being terrified of what happens if he is.And when something in the city starts to break, something strong enough to tear it apart, Will has to wonder if being Spider-Man is going to cost him everything.
Or: two idiots, one secret identity, and absolutely no communication skills.

Usually, he can escape these things. A bit tired and sore, but still escaped them. But no, he just had to use all of his webs up in the fight without realizing.
