“Yeah, and what do you see?” He fixes his glasses with a challenging glare.
“You,” He harshly pokes Ryland’s chest, and then throws a thumb over his shoulder to indicate the door Simon disappeared behind, “making googly eyes at Mr. Tall-Dark-and-Broody back there.”
(Or, Ryland is a pianist and Simon is a bartender, they both work weddings. Holland's also here being nosy about his nephew's love life.)

For a long moment, Sebastian is silent. Those twin eyebrow creases had grown deeper and deeper the longer Jacob spoke, once he realized how dead serious Jacob was. Finally, he says through gritted teeth, “I don’t find you attractive.”
Jacob rolls his eyes. “Sebastian, don’t say no based on a lie. If you want to say no, then say no, but don’t lie about it.”
Sebastian has an old problem, and Jacob gets a new neighbor.
