Kageyama looked down, a soft smile on his lips, "Its been eight years." The table fell quiet. He cleared his throat, waving his hand dismissively, "Lets not talk about that, we're all here and we're all happy and its been a while."
"He wasn't with us for long though was he?" Daichi shook his head at the Asahi's curiosity.
"He was here for hmm...how many months?" He looked to Sugawara who perked up, chiming in.
"For 3 months I'd say. A little over 3 at max, red hair brown eyes...what was his name again?"
Hinata Shoyo.

"You've never spoken about him, have you? Tell us about it all then." He could see how well on his way Tanaka was, to get drunk along with Nishinoya and he sighed, couldn't hurt right? Nothing wrong with him reminiscing with his friends.
His lips were tugged into a soft smile yet again, as the corners of his softened into a small squint, "It was the summer of 2013."

"Kageyama focus!" Daichi screams at Kageyama and the boy looks down at his forearms, red and blotchy. He could've received that.
Suga glared at Daichi, "Don't mind! Don't mind! You'll get it next time Kageyama."
Oikawa smiled at Kageyama, the sweet sarcastic smile of his that sent the latter spiraling down just a little more further than he already was, "Maybe its time for the king to sit this one out eh?" And it hurt, this deep pain in his chest as his breathing quickened. He wasn't going to lose. He couldn't lose.
Overwhelmed in his self destruction, he heard a voice, a voice he held so dear, so close to his heart. It awakened something in him. Something snapped when he heard those words from him. Words that fed into his pride. Words that were filled with admiration, so sincere that it made him believe in himself. He would.
"Watch out senpai! King of the court already brought you down to your knees once!" Hinata screamed at Oikawa and then looked at him, those wide golden eyes so filled with absolute and pure determination, "Don't worry, Kageyama. We'll get them. I have your tosses and you have my strikes. We're invincible."
