Summary
October 1st 1981 the Potters welcomed a new member of their little hidden family, a tiny little girl with a button nose and little wisps of black curls set upon her head. It had been a small light in such a dark time in their lives and although neither Lily or James could contact their friends freely, they still alerted both Sirius, Remus, Peter and Dumbledore of her birth once they had chosen a name that they knew Sirius would be overjoyed to hear of.
For Sirius Black may not have been able to be there for her birth, he would certainly be her godparent and had often lamented that if he had ever had a child, he’d choose this name. But that was looking less and less likely to happen due to circumstances they weren’t privy to, Dumbledore's orders anyways.
So, little Lyra Rose Potter, Goddaughter of Sirius Black, born October 1st 1981 was hidden away from the world with the rest of her family when the fateful night her big brother became the boy who lived.

Harry has a little sister who’s got some sense and tends to be the voice of semi-reason and has a few special…quirks of her own to deal with. Her existence affects the time-line in an odd way.

Summary
The war had long since passed, Harry was now in his early twenties and working as an Auror, Harry looked back on his time at Hogwarts with a mixture of sadness, wishes of change and the slightest hints of disdain. His engagement to Ginny had been one of the few good outcomes from his time there.
He’d been distracted by his thoughts of Hogwarts whilst sorting through the evidence of a current case he’d been investigating, something to do with a young wizard messing with things he shouldn’t have just yet. It would most likely land the child with a slap on the wrist but Harry still needed to sort through the mess that had been made.
He’d been moving an oddly coloured potion from the evidence box when it slipped from his hands, the potion tumbling rather quickly to the floor in a way that was almost comical with the way it tumbled before splashing onto the floor. Harry closed his eyes to avoid any of this unknown potion from getting into them, but if he had opened his eyes…he would have seen the world shift around him and he would have seen his own body shift and change in ways it shouldn’t have been able to.

Summary
As the clock struck midnight on November 1st 1981, the one known as Petunia Evans was making herself a cup of tea in her kitchen. It tasted salty as she shakily sipped it… Must be the tears mixing in.
Not two hours ago she’d woken up with a gasp, and as soon as she felt the searing pain in her chest, she knew… her little sister was gone.
Now she was alone… First her parents, dead, and now her sister was gone too. Would they find her too? If masquerading as muggles hadn’t worked for her parents… would it be enough for her?
The telltale cracks of apparition coming from outside startled her, and she made her way slowly towards the front door.
When she opened it, she found her nephew on the ground in a basket, eyes as green as her sister’s staring up at her.
In that moment, as their gazes connected, something snapped in place inside her. Maybe Lilia had it right all along, even if it had gotten her killed. Maybe it was time to come out of hiding and actually do something about things. For her, and for her baby.
