Summary
He talks about his mate with such love in every word, it made Carlos want to cringe due to the force of it. That isn't surprising at all, their bond is, quite famously, very strong, everyone knows about it. Roger Federer using Spanish courting traditions isn't anything that would go unnoticed, mainly because Spaniards tended to be very… loud when courting, which is completely different from what the swizzes tended to go for. It was surely hilarious, seeing the great and mighty Roger Federer stumbling with words while giving a huge bouquet of flowers to Rafa. Carlos wasn't there of course, that happened in 2011, but he is sure it must have been hilarious, even if all people did back them was criticize them.

He’d always slept better with a bit of the outside pressing in.

This was a stupid idea. It had always been a stupid idea, from the moment that Hinata had proposed it at one of the interminable team sleepovers back in Miyagi, to the moment that Kei had signed the lease. It was a stupid idea now, as Kei moved himself into the apartment he was soon to be sharing with two of the most irritating people on the planet, his boyfriend, and Yachi, who was actually an angel and didn’t deserve any of this.
But—and this was the sticking point—Kei was brutally aware of the fact that he had no-one but himself to blame for his current situation. He’d gone along with the whole thing with only mild complaining.
(Or: Tsukishima Kei shares an apartment with his teammates from Karasuno as a freshman in college. He doesn’t hate it.)
