Sheev Palpatine had never heard of Skywalker’s Law: when everything is going according to plan, something will hurl out of left field to absolutely fuck your shit up. With all of the Sith’s meticulous designs, it was a wonder he’d yet to encounter it. Of course, there was no longer a Skywalker to embody Skywalker’s Law. Therein lay Palpatine’s Hutt-sized karmic problem.
Anakin Skywalker falls in battle and now someone needs to bring balance to the Force. Those who loved him would like a time-out to grieve. Sucks that they're in the middle of a galactic war.

"How many have we lost this time?" Heero asks as Wufei stands in the doorway.
That Wufei hesitates before telling him isn't a good sign, but before Heero has to ask him again, he says, "Thirty-five dead. Another twenty are seriously wounded. At least seven are not expected to make it through the night."
Heero had sent a hundred soldiers after the Eltoo menace that is known only as Shinigami, and this was the result. "How large was his force?" he demands, clenching his hands.
Wufei's posture somehow becomes even more correct. "Reports say it was just him."
"Gather my generals," Heero tells him. "If I have to send a thousand to capture him, I will. And I do mean capture, Wufei. I want him alive."
Bowing, Wufei says, "Of course, Your Majesty."
Heero is going to make that barbarian regret ever raising a hand against Heero's troops.
When the captured Shinigami is revealed to be an omega, all of Heero's plans change.

Alternate summary, according to TV Tropes: A man attempts to escape slavery by turning into one of his culture heroes, teaching his daughter how to do magic, killing people, and flower arranging.

She may be disoriented, but this stagnant, not-yet-war-torn galaxy isn’t ready for her, either. What happens when Ahsoka—veteran soldier, Purge survivor, rebel agent—appears and starts tearing through a thousand years of corruption and Sith schemes?
Everything changes.
Now somehow the immensely adorable nine-year-old Anakin is her apprentice, and he’s not even her only apprentice. Maul is obsessed with her. She’s giving the Jedi Order a rude awakening. There might be a chance to stop Dooku from becoming a Sith. The Republic is falling apart in an entirely unfamiliar way. And that’s just the beginning.
Whether or not all this change will be a good thing remains to be seen.
And there’s one thing Ahsoka cannot let happen: Darth Vader. She doesn’t know who he is or where he came from, but she does know that she’s going to find the unstoppable monster who terrorized the galaxy once, and she’s going to kill him.
