Beomgyu nods, tightening his legs. “Yes. Beomgyu, who is a girl.” He prods at Soobin’s chest. “And Soobin, who is still hyung,” he says. “I would,” Kai spouts. It’s out of his mouth before he can stop it. He regrets it instantly.
Beomgyu looks at him, eyebrows raised. “What?”
And maybe it’s the exhaustion, maybe it’s the way Beomgyu had laughed at himself when he’s one of the most stunning creatures Kai has ever seen. Whatever it is, it makes him elaborate instead of finding a way to backtrack.
“I’d date you,” he declares, then realizes how it sounds and hurries to correct, stumbling over his words. “If—if you were a girl. I’d date you.”
