Summary
Hooni often thinks about the mold that grows in the corners of his room. He often chooses not to acknowledge it, but every now and then he remembers its presence. He remembers trying to remove it once. He quickly gave up, telling himself it didn’t matter, he’d be dead soon anyways.

Maybe he is the mold. He is an annoyance to the people around him. He is tasteless and detestable. He is a useless part of society.

He thinks back to the mold he had only recently removed. The mold was gone. Now it’s his turn. It was his turn to be scrubbed away, his turn to be thrown out. He glances down one more time. He takes in the scenery. It’s surprisingly beautiful. With one deep breath, he removes one hand from the bar, keeping him from a 10 story fall.
