"Okay," Jaemin says, just as quiet. Like it's a secret. "We can hate him together, okay?"
Jeno doesn't think Jaemin would ever let him go through something alone.

“Are we friends?”
“If you want us to be.”
Johnny pulls off one of his long dishwashing gloves and sticks out his hand. “Okay, Mark. Hi, I’m John.”
Mark laughs and bats his hand away. “You don’t have to do all that. You’re not a stranger.”
“Might as well be. We haven’t seen each other in years. And I’d like to get to know you.”
Johnny extends his hand again, and Mark looks down at it, a little skeptical, before finally taking it. Johnny shakes it firmly and says again. “Hi Mark. I’m John Suh.”
Mark giggles—a familiar sound, though with a huskier lilt now. “Hello John. I’m Mark Lee.”
He doesn’t mean to disappear. But time passes. Life gets busy. And at some point, without really noticing, Johnny realizes it’s been more than fifteen years since he last set foot in the old neighborhood.

“Some breathing exercises I learnt in rehab, work out," he giggles, letting his head roll back so he can blink over at Donghyuck, "think of you.”
