Summary
Since becoming the Slayer at age 15, Chuuya has been through a lot of shit. Now, though, he’s settled down as much as someone like him can—he’s got friends, a cat, and a job at Fukuzawa’s bookstore.
But this relative peace could never last.
A group of wealthy vampires have come searching for a special book, threatening everything Chuuya cares for. In order to protect his found family and home, he’s going to have to go against his very nature to team up with a vampire named Dazai.
“Nice try, creep,” Chuuya pants out. “But you’re gonna have to do better than that. I’ve been slayin’ far longer than you’ve been sticking your sorry little fangs in people’s necks.”
Surprise briefly flickers on the vampire’s face before it dissolves back into nonchalance.
“How do you figure that?”
Chuuya scoffs. It’s just… obvious. His clothing, his speech patterns, even his smell. It isn’t musty enough yet. “I’ve killed vampires hundreds of years older than you. You’ve got newborn written all over you.”
“Chuu-ya,” the vampire whines again. “That isn’t a very nice thing to say.”
A chill runs down Chuuya’s spine. He definitely hasn’t introduced himself.

Summary
The year?
2003ish.The vibe?
Skater boy Chuuya has been getting by with sleeping on floors and stealing necessities since he was seven years old and ran away from that rather mysterious, disturbing, forgotten past of his. But his life is turned upside down upon meeting a weird, lonely boy: his friendships unravel; he moves in with Dazai and his guardian Mori; and he’s now got one summer left before he’s thrust into school for the very first time. Only blasting pop punk music will save him.Meanwhile, Dazai’s suicidal plans have been interrupted by a new toy—dog, boy, whatever—to play with. If only he could stop being an asshole and figure out what these strange new emotions mean.

"Human sex," Chuuya says, letting himself be disdainful. He's allowed to hold contempt for a human activity.
But he's definitely not allowed to want his Diamond to use him for pleasure instead of a fucking human.
Dazai laughs. "You don't have to say it like that."
How do you want me to say it, my Diamond? How do you want me, my Diamond? Please, please just want me. I'll do anything.
Understanding sparks in Dazai's dark eyes. "Are you jealous, Chuuya?"
"Don't call me that!" Chuuya snaps. His head buzzes with static; hands curl into fists.
Dazai's eyes narrow. "But it's your name."
"I don't have a name." I'm not supposed to. Vibrating with repressed anger, Chuuya steps back. He wants to hurt Dazai—hurt his Diamond—in all the ways he's been hurt. Dutifully, he holds it in. He grits out, "I'm your Pearl. Stop acting like I'm not."

Summary
After twelve years of evading vampire hunters, coming to terms with their life after death, and learning to stay together with only consensual bloodshed, Dazai and Chuuya have finally bought themselves a nice two-bedroom apartment to settle into. They're eager to make it their home and savor domestic bliss.
Of course, there is one pesky little problem.
They got the flat cheap due to rumors of a violent haunting, dating back over two centuries. But, they're vampires and creatures of the night like them should have no reason to fear ghosts, right?

Summary
Chuuya realizes Dazai’s scars (which, per one of my previous stories, are largely from work, since he hates pain and any historical self-harm was generally skewed to pharmaceuticals) are not, in fact, typical. He enlists Kunikida to help him give Dazai a self-defense lesson, and incentivizes Dazai to cooperate by promising he would personally spar with him afterward. During that sexually charged private lesson, he gets Dazai to submit and offer to do anything Chuuya wants. But what Chuuya wants isn’t what Dazai expects.
(Although the smut Dazai was hoping for will occur in the next story, called A Night To Remember, which picks up half an hour after this one ends.)

“It’s fake” Dazai assures him, sitting with his legs crossed on his unmade bed “Totally, completely, absolutely just a pretend thing”
Chuuya just stares at him, digesting it in silence as he slowly blinks at Dazai across from him and hopes some of his discomfort can pass for confusion. He wonders why Dazai sounds so desperate to convey this to him when this shouldn’t be any of Chuuya’s business.
But Dazai huffs an annoyed breath at his lack of answer, wrinkling his nose in impatience and the soft sunlight catches in his face just right and he is so beautiful, with his stupid silly pout and Chuuya can’t even hold the denial in place for half a second apparently.
So alright, Dazai is in a fake relationship and maybe Chuuya does care.Or, that one College AU where all the tropes apply, featuring Dazai’s attempts at communicating that only make things worse and the ensuing chaos
