Leia's repeat Ch. 28 2/1/22
It’s a testament to the depth and wit of this work that I’m still surprised and engaged by it on my roughly twelfth read since it first came into my life in 2017.
I cite it as one of my all time favourite novels and it is almost my baseline for how I view the whole Star Wars universe. I recommend Queens to everyone I know with even a passing interest in fanfic, sci-fi, or character studies.
It treats all of the many characters with such devotion and consideration in their portrayal and it is so easy to love love love this universe.Time travel has been adopted many times but here it is done best. The legacy of Leia Organa is upheld - Disney could never do what chancecraz does.

Summary
Dewey and his brothers manage a whole six months of peace before their luck runs out, leaving them standing alone in an empty castle. The family they'd tried so hard to get back to is missing, gone without a trace, and it doesn't take much thought to figure out who could've done it. With a new mystery unraveling, their past coming back to haunt them, and no clue where their family has been taken, there's a little more going on than they know how to deal with on their own.
Good thing there's still one last family member to find and drag out of hiding.
