Summary
When the first teenager from Aguefort goes missing, Riz immediately takes notice and worries. Then two more follow, and Riz is scrambling to make a clue board. And then another… and another… and suddenly it’s nine missing kids, and it doesn’t matter that Riz isn’t technically part of the Elmville PD anymore. He’s not about to let this happen again.
Maybe he should have been more specific, though, when he’d told Adaine he would take any help he could get. Because he certainly hadn’t meant Fabian Aramaris Seacaster, enemy to the Counsel of Chosen and professional Pain in Riz’s Ass. But he's hardly in a position to turn him away, as much as he wants to. Not when Fabian lets Riz know that the case is so much bigger than he thought.
