Summary
His first introduction to Carl’s person is this. An unwell man in a little dingy basement, struggling under a weight he himself chose to attempt. Pride was the first thing he thought of Carl. Annoying the second.
At first Akram believed Carl to be just another rude and lazy bastard, whose better days had long passed and who had now accepted the degradation to be cast aside in some dirty dungeon. Someone who hid under arrogance and pride, and was quick to lash out and disrespect.
Someone who was hurt and had given up on the world, and let himself go, as shown by the disrepair of the body he inhabited; an unkempt beard with stray gray hairs, the unbuttoned, rumpled shirts and hands that shake and tremble and unfocused eyes adorned with dark circles and great white wings that droop and drag along the floor wherever he goes, leaving filthy feathers behind him.Brief look into a few characters (with a focus on their relationships to Carl) through the use of wings.
